Everyone's talking about it, although nobody wants to be. The microscopic elephant in the room that has brought life as we know it to a screeching halt - COVID-19.
The unfortunate truth is, this virus has rained down devastation wherever it has taken hold across the entire world. In this time of stress, fear, and sadness, many people have elected to postpone and even cancel their weddings altogether - but Brandy and Terrill were ready and wanted to move forward. Instead of leaving the knot untied, they cut their wedding down to the essentials and rather than the larger wedding they originally planned, held an intimate elopement ceremony.
Yes, the wedding day didn't look exactly like they planned, but they still started their adventure into married life together - and really, isn't that the whole point? I've heard it said several times throughout this process that we shouldn't worry about the wedding day and should instead focus on the marriage. The wedding day is one of hopefully many days that you will share with your partner, and it is with that spirit that (with respect for legality, health and safety, of course) the show must go on. Is it a different show? Yes. Is that a bad thing? I'm going with "no."
The intimate ceremony was beautifully stated by a close family member, and with love in their hearts, Brandy & Terrill were wed!
