Someone once said, “You can't buy happiness, but you can buy books and that's kind of the same thing.” But what if you buy books and marry someone who buys books as well? That is a whole lot of happiness right there!
Susan and Eric’s mutual love of reading, libraries and all things books has drawn them together. One of their favorite traditions is to visit local bookstores while they are traveling. We loved how these two connected over the simple things in life.
We connected with Susan and Eric on a late-February day for their wedding at All Saints Chapel in Raleigh. These two planned an intimate and COVID-conscious celebration with their closest family and friends. The little white chapel was spacious and a perfect location to put on a safe and socially-distanced wedding. After getting married, Susan and Eric hosted a lovely reception. A single red strawberry was placed on Susan’s plate. This was a nostalgic memory and inside joke with Susan’s father. Guests feasted on delicious catering from Empire Eats. The meal concluded with a mouth-watering cake from Ragazzi’s of Garner. We know they say that books can buy happiness, but we are pretty sure cake can too!
Congratulations Susan and Eric!
