There's something really special about Bailey Park in downtown Winston-Salem NC on a quiet Sunday morning. Despite being in the heart of the city, the park is always a favorite spot for me because of its unique blend of structure and nature. I had a great time with Amber & Jeff capturing some beautiful engagement photos all around the area! Amber and Jeff are such a fun couple, and it was never a struggle to get real, genuine emotions in their photos - we had plenty of romance, and just as much laughter!

I think my favorite shot of the whole session were the ones where I was trying to get them to look up into the camera, but with the direct sunshine overhead it was tough so they just ended up laughing the whole time. Laughter is joy in one of its purest forms, and it’s always a magical moment to catch someone laughing so hard that they need a moment to catch their breath and wipe the tears from their eyes.
