Amber and Jeff met the modern old-fashioned way: online! Before they knew it, they found themselves exchanging sweet messages. Eventually, they met in-person. And the rest is history! Fast-forward to their beautiful March wedding day. Their officiant jokingly pointed out how it was appropriate to have a Facebook Live stream during the ceremony since their journey began online.
Before the ceremony, we met Amber and Jeff at The Historic Brookstown Inn in Winston-Salem. This beautiful inn was built way back in 1837. We love shooting at this venue because of all the amazing things to photograph. According to their website, “Preserving the original structure of the building, the Inn’s interior is decorated to enhance the grand ceilings, original wooden beams, exposed brick and newly refinished historic pine wood floors in the lobby.” Um, yes to all of this!
Our beautiful bride, Amber, is such a sweet soul. Her red curls were gathered halfway up into a soft braid. Her father gifted her a sixpence for her wedding shoes. Such a beautiful memento for his daughter. Amber matched the timelessness of Brookstown perfectly. Her handsome groom, Jeff, wore a grey suit and navy-blue tie. Against Amber’s Springtime bouquet by Sedgefield Florist, these two looked both classic and dapper.
During the outdoor ceremony, the trees were dressed in twinkle lights. In front of their friends and family, Amber and Jeff blended sand that they had collected from Lake Eerie. Once they were pronounced husband and wife, these two were ready to get the party started. They danced their way into their reception to Sugarhill Gang’s “Apache (Jump on It!)”!
Congratulations Amber and Jeff!
