During the pandemic, the difficulty to meet in-person surged the popularity of video technology. And Zoom was, by far, the most popular go-to website. From work meetings to special events, this program has allowed us to chat with our couples before the wedding day. And it has helped our couples include loved ones from all over the world in their wedding. We even know some couples who got married over Zoom video. We thought we had seen online video messaging incorporated into a plethora of weddings over the last year. But at Ashleigh and Tim’s wedding, we saw it on a whole other level.
Our dashing groom, Timothy, and his beautiful bride, Ashleigh, were missing someone very important at their late-June wedding: the best man. But thanks to the wonders of modern technology, Timothy’s best friend was able to walk down the aisle (with the help of a fellow groomsman, of course) and witness the union at the Rural Hall venue.
Ashleigh and Timothy picked the Historic Venue at Old Holler Farm for their rustic and elegant wedding day. This day was full of emotions and special moments. From the “Zooming” Best Man to the heartfelt toasts to Ashleigh letting Timothy have it with the cake, our couple was laughing and crying tears of joy all day long. The cake-cutting was probably our favorite moment though. Ashleigh left Timothy in an icing-induced Braveheart look. Afterwards, these two took to the dance floor with their guests and danced the night away.
Congratulations Ashleigh and Timothy!
