On the Fourth of July weekend, we stayed local in Greensboro for an intimate wedding at The Colonnade at Revolution Mill. On their website, this industrial venue boasts of surprising wedding guests. Guests will be wowed by the gorgeous private courtyard and inviting indoor space with original maple floors, enormous windows, exposed brick, custom ironwork, and high ceilings! Let’s just say, that this renovated venue wowed the vendors too! We absolutely adore capturing the unique industrial designs and sharp architectural lines. Simply put, the venue is a photographer’s dream location.
We arrived at the Revolution Mill on a hot, hot, hot July day. Our bubbly bride, Samantha, and her groom, Tyler, were so excited to get married in front of their very intimate guest list. With less than twenty guests, Samantha and Tyler exchanged vows in The Colonnade. Bistro lights hung from the tall brick walls surrounding them. Their close bridal party members were dressed in romantic red attire. The special guests sat on gold metal chairs while witnessing these two become one. It was a beautiful ceremony full of promise, hope and joy for what was to come. After the ceremony, the small group headed outside for portraits by the lush green vines and outdoor brick. Before the day ended, we were able to photograph the married couple all over the Revolution Mill’s property.
This special ceremony and intimate afternoon were part one of Samantha and Tyler’s wedding story. Part two will be next summer when they intend to host a larger wedding celebration for their extended network of friends and family. Save the date for 2022!
Congratulations Samantha and Tyler!
