On a gorgeous Sunday in May, we drove out to Denton for Britany and Allyssa’s wedding day. In the beautiful rolling North Carolina hills, we arrived at a private residence for the wedding. As wedding photographers, we see an array of wedding venues throughout the entire state. But we love when we can photograph a wedding on private property. Not only is it personal, but it is also very exclusive! For Britany and Allyssa’s nuptials, we felt the intimacy and uniqueness the moment we arrived.
Britany and Allyssa were both focused on creating a day that represented them, their family, and their passions. They started the wedding day off with a first look with their children and then with one another. It was heartfelt to watch their family come together in this union. Britany and Allyssa also incorporated the kids into the ceremony which we always love to witness.
The outdoor reception had beautifully designed appetizers and drinks for guests to munch on. But let’s talk about that cake! Their wedding cake was one of the most mouth-watering and creative pieces of edible art. The outside was decorated to be a rustic naked cake matching the aesthetic of the reception. But once that cake was cut into…boom! It was a burst of color and celebration of their love. And it was delicious, too! At the end of the reception, Britany and Allyssa said goodbye to their family and friends before hopping on a motorcycle into the sunset.
Congratulations Britany and Allyssa!
