Love in modern technology can be tricky and frustrating at times. But for others, it can be a very rewarding journey for two amazing people to find their perfect match. Back in 2013, good-natured Jonathan was casually scrolling the online profiles on Plenty of Fish when he stumbled upon the kind-hearted, Jessica. Soon enough, these two met for their first in-person date at the High Point City Lake Park. After that date, Plenty of Fish could boast of another successful match!
Eight years later, we arrived at Mendenhall Place to photograph Jonathan and Jessica’s wedding day. The late-day in Spring was a perfect one for the long-awaited celebration. We arrived at the venue that sunny May morning. Jonathan and their son were both looked dapper in his traditional Scottish attire with full kilt, sporran, hose, jacket, shirt, etc. Jessica stunned in an off-the-shoulder lace gown. Her brown locks were pulled back in a soft French braid. These both looked royal, to say the least.
We love when our couples honor their heritage and family roots. Jessica and Jonathan did just that. From the ceremonial bagpipes to the reception cèilidh dance, the day was full of Scottish celebrations!
May joy and peace surround you both,
contentment latch your door,
may happiness be with you now,
God bless you evermore.
