Jennie and Cody's wedding was one of those events that really sticks with you - full of intention, meaning, and romance. We knew we were in for an amazing evening when we first heard Jennie and Cody's detailed plans for their wedding day, and they absolutely did not disappoint. Everything from the music to the lighting to the food was an exquisite experience.
We started the day off at the Julian Price House in Greensboro, an absolutely stunning historic home which gave us the opportunity to capture a lot of really beautiful moments. In addition to the couple exchanging gifts, they also shared in the giving by presenting special items to the wedding party, and Jennie received an incredible gift - a handwritten letter from her great grandmother, with a dollar bill (her "something old") to carry with her down the aisle.
From there we were off to Castle McCulloch, where the couple exchanged heartfelt vows in the Great Hall. Following the ceremony, the guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the Queen's Chamber and the newlyweds were swept off for their first photos as husband and wife, before returning to the Great Hall for a delicious dinner by The Painted Plate. The party continued up the hill to the Crystal Garden for dessert and an evening of live entertainment. Overall it was an amazing experience, and one that showed careful and intentional choices that the couple made to ensure that everyone in attendance had a fun (and safe) experience.
It was such a pleasure to be a part of capturing their wedding day - congratulations, Jennie and Cody!
