What do you get when you have a first look in an arboretum right before a cloud burst? Amazing photos! For Kristina and Michael’s intimate wedding, our timing could not have been more perfect. Before Mother Nature decided it was time for a rainstorm, Kristina and Michael were able to share an intimate moment surrounded by lush greens. Gratefully, we were able to capture the sweet first look and grab an umbrella just in time!
Kristina and Michael decided to narrow down their wedding guest list to their immediate families for their Memorial Day weekend wedding. Although they plan to celebrate with their extended circles next year, they wanted their official wedding day to be personal and intimate. So surrounded by their two families, Kristina, our tender-hearted bride, walked down the aisle of the Mt Pleasant Church in Tanglewood Park. Our groom, Michael, was calmly waiting for his bride at the end of the white runner. The church is built with beautiful dark wood which gave it such a warm and romantic vibe. After the ceremony, the two united families celebrated the couple with a celebratory church exit before we headed out for portraits in between the rainfall. Although there was intermittent rainfall throughout the May wedding day, it gave us such perfect even lighting for Michael and Kristina’s portraits. Sometimes Mother Nature works on your side!
Congratulations Kristina and Michael!
