Marlyn & Kyle were such a pleasure to photograph on their wedding day. Due to the restrictions put in place by the Governor, the couple opted to enjoy a small, intimate ceremony and outdoor reception at Kyle's family home in Newton, NC. Although the guest count was small, the wedding and reception saw no shortage of joy and romance. Kyle and Marlyn's romance was one of those relationships where you can tell that they've been together for a long time, just by the way that they interact together. 

The family's property was absolutely gorgeous, and the perfect spot for the open air ceremony and tented wedding reception. The couple thoughtfully set several tables with only a few chairs at each to encourage the family to remain safely seated during the reception. There was so much attention to detail throughout the day - everything from the beautifully set tables to the delicious meal served at the reception to the stunning floral arrangements by Twigs & Twine elevated the space to create a sweet, romantic afternoon event. My favorite part of this wedding was definitely the time spent with Kyle and Marlyn during their portraits - they radiate love, and that makes what I do all the more satisfying.
