Although January weddings aren’t too common, we think it is a great month to get hitched! For one, some venues and vendors tend to give wintertime or off-season discounts. Secondly, winter lighting is so soft and golden. And lastly, what a perfect way to start an amazing year than to commit to your new spouse. Why not add that to your New Year’s resolutions?
We arrived at the rustic brick Kernsville restaurant on the chilly January day. Stephanie and Antoine, along with their adorable children, were married at The Prescott Restaurant. This winter wedding was one lovey-dovey family affair! These two are hands down a sweet, sweet couple. Antoine and Stephanie are family-oriented and laid-back individuals. We loved how they incorporated their young children into the wedding day. From posing in bridal portraits to participating in the sand ceremony, the unity of their family was celebrated that day.
Stephanie and Antoine hired Tie the Knot with Torri for their ceremony. Torri is a local award-winning officiant who was fantastic - the ceremony was intentionally and emotionally delivered. We highly recommend Torri if you are getting married in the Greensboro area!
The Prescott Restaurant offers intimate event spaces and farm-to-table dining. The reception room was decorated in lush reds and snow whites. The details were so well thought out too. Guests were gifted “Spread Love, Not Germs” sanitizer as memorable (and practical) mementos. The restaurant also boasts of a “Community-Driven Farms and Local Markets” menu. In other words, it was delicious and fresh! Foodies of Greensboro, we highly recommend getting hitched at this culinary wonderland.
Congratulations Stephanie and Antoine!
Let us capture your love story!
We'd love to chat with you about your plans for your wedding day, so let's get coffee (or tea... and possibly cookies...) and discuss the big day!
