Titus and Zoe are such a kind and tender-hearted couple. Their December wedding day was full of significance and sentimentality. We met them at their home church, The Church on 68, in Greensboro. The winter day was beautiful with clear skies and chilly crisp air. Our calm bride was excited to get married to the man of her dreams. Titus was equally as giddy throughout the day.
Something that tells us a lot about our bride and grooms is who is in their wedding party. The people that Titus and Zoe surrounded themselves with were down-to-earth and incredibly helpful individuals. We loved seeing them selflessly serve the bride and groom and support them throughout the day.
Additionally, we respect how intentional Titus and Zoe were in planning their wedding. We could tell that they wanted the day to be a genuine representation of their commitment to one another as well as a celebration of uniting their families. Before the ceremony, they met for an intimate “first touch”. Unable to see one another, they held hands, exchanged private words and prayed together. It was a beautiful moment for the couple to share before beginning their lives together. It also gave them a pause in the middle of their big day to reflect on one another.
During the ceremony, Titus and Zoe incorporated sacred traditions such as a foot-washing ceremony. For those family and friends who were unable to travel in mid-December, the couple aired the ceremony on Facebook Live. Titus and Zoe thought through so many details and made sure to include all their loved ones. Again, these two were so intentional. We loved it. Once the ceremony was finished, Titus and Zoe hosted a reception at the church with yummy food, dancing and a ribbon send off!
Congratulations Titus and Zoe!
