There seems to be a running theme on the blog lately, about how some of our couples had planned one wedding and ended up with something a bit different than they expected. Morgan & Justin were also impacted by COVID-19 and as a result opted to have an intimate wedding with only a few close family members, while postponing the larger celebration until the spring. It's something we're seeing a lot of - people who just want to get married now, even if it means they need to forego the traditional reception for the time being.

Morgan & Justin were wed on a family farm located in Cedar Grove, NC in a stunning outdoor ceremony. The weather was gorgeous, which was a nice twist on the kind of ominous forecast that the weather channel had been calling for all week. Morgan arrived to the ceremony with her dad in his pickup truck, and he escorted her down the aisle to meet her soon to be husband. The couple exchanged vows in front of their immediate family. The ceremony was sweet and emotional, and everything a wedding should be. After the ceremony, Morgan and Justin shared a toast and a slice of cake. During the cake cutting we had a little bit of rain, but luckily it was short lived and we were able to capture some stunning portraits.

Morgan and Justin are planning to move forward with a celebration with more family and friends in the spring, and I can't wait to capture their party! Congratulations, you two!
