We work with so many amazing couples, and every so often, we team up with couples that feel like real-life friends. Rachel and Dalton were exactly this type of couple. Their warm and light-hearted nature made everyone, including their vendors, feel like family.
Bob Dylan said, “Some people feel the rain. Others just get wet.” This perfectly summarizes these two. Rachel is a super sweet bride. Her better half, Dalton, is overall a genuinely nice guy. Together, Rachel and Dalton are lovers of life, experiences, and travel. When their family and friends were toasting them on their June wedding night, they talked about how these two find the ability to laugh through almost any situation. Travel teaches individuals how to do that. Their mutual ability to approach life with a sense of humor has helped them navigate both the calm and stormy waters of life. This also explains why they are both so disarming and friendly to everyone they meet. They rejoice in the rainfall and don’t mind the wetness of it all. What a joy these two are to all who have met them - including us!
The wedding took place at one of our favorite venues, Castle McCulloch. The day started sunny and slowly shifted to overcast which was the perfect balanced lighting that we enjoy. One of the highlights of their wedding was when they scrapped the garter toss, and both threw the bouquet. It was unique, fun, and totally Rachel and Dalton. We love capturing the twists that our couples put on traditions. It shows future couples that they also can add twists to their big day!
Congratulations Rachel and Dalton!
